How to Create a CRA Account

To create a CRA account, keep the SIN number and previous year's tax return documents in hand.  You also need to have an active mobile phone to receive a passcode.

Open the following link:

https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/e-services-individuals/account-individuals.html

  1. Click on register account
  2. Enter your social insurance number and click next
  3. Enter your date of birth, postal code, and the amount written on a specific line of your previous year's tax returns and click next. 
  4. The rest of the form is simple and self-explanatory. After completing the whole online process, CRA will send you a pin within 10 days that you will need to input to access your account.

My Experience Publishing with IEEE Internet of Things Journal

Recently, I have published an article with the IEEE, Internet of Things Journal. For the article submission in this journal, the author needs to create a submission account. The link is given in the following. https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/iot After the initial submission, all the correspondence will be handled by the corresponding author. As my supervisor was the corresponding author, he used to notify me of any email that is received from the journal. My paper took three revisions until the final acceptance. Once the article is accepted, the IEEE copyright form is uploaded on the IEEE IoTJ submission system. This form can be filled by the submitting author. Once the copyright form is submitted, the author's copy of the manuscript will be online after a couple of days. The next correspondence is handled by the IEEE gateway account which handles the production process.
