How to change language from Chinese to English on WeChat for PC

WeChat (Chinese: 微信; pinyin: Wēixìn is a Chinese multi-purpose messaging, social media and mobile payment app developed by Tencent. First released in 2011, it became the world's largest standalone mobile app in 2018, with over 1 billion monthly active users. WeChat has been described as China's "app for everything" and a "super app" because of its wide range of functions. WeChat provides text messaging, hold-to-talk voice messaging, broadcast (one-to-many) messaging, video conferencing, video games, sharing of photographs and videos, and location sharing.

The default language on WeChat for PC is Chinese. I tried to download WeChat for PC from many websites; however, it always gave me a Chinese language version of the software. It is difficult to use WeChat for PC in the Chinese language for non-native speakers. However, it is very easy to change the language on WeChat for PC. I have outlined the steps involved in changing the language that are described below.

1. Click on the options menu as shown in the image.

5. Select the English language in the drop-down menu, which will require a restart of the Wechat for PC application. Click yes as shown in the following.
