A Morning Close to the Nature

A morning in the green fields of Pujnaj, Pakistan. It was made by me in a random walk early morning in the harvesting season of wheat crop 2016, which is in April, May every year in Pakistan. You can hear the sounds of birds chanting and air blooming in this video. The cloud covered sky will give you a very calm feeling.

Guidelines for Effective Academic Writing

 Here are some guidelines for effective academic writing. It is based on my own experience writing for computer science journals and conferences.  Don't use 'the' with an abbreviation. Use active tenses unless a passive is extremely necessary. Use the same form of the verb (present/past) when describing related work and be consistent with it throughout the manuscript. Don't use the before plurals. Don't use etc when including a list of items. Never use the word 'suggest' when referring to the previous work. The word 'report' could be a better option.  Don't use 's with an abbreviation, for example, SDN's capability could be written as SDN capability. Don't use the word "paradigm" use only when it makes sense. Always use "," after then, however, thus, etc. Be consistent, use the same form of "TENSE, i.e., PAST or PRESENT" in the whole section. My Experience Publishing with IEEE Internet of Things Journal

Recently, I have published an article with the IEEE, Internet of Things Journal. For the article submission in this journal, the author needs to create a submission account. The link is given in the following. https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/iot After the initial submission, all the correspondence will be handled by the corresponding author. As my supervisor was the corresponding author, he used to notify me of any email that is received from the journal. My paper took three revisions until the final acceptance. Once the article is accepted, the IEEE copyright form is uploaded on the IEEE IoTJ submission system. This form can be filled by the submitting author. Once the copyright form is submitted, the author's copy of the manuscript will be online after a couple of days. The next correspondence is handled by the IEEE gateway account which handles the production process. The IEEE production team emails the link and user credentials to log-in to the IEEE Gateway acco
