This article is solely based on my personal experience while flying from Shanghai-China to Montreal Canada. Things to do before taking the flight: Following is the list of required documents prior to flying to Canada, it may be different based on the type of visa, but the majority of the procedures are the same for all visa types. 1. Book the hotel for the three nights of quarantine which is non-refundable it cost me around 1000 CAD. I booked hotel Crowne Plaza Toronto 2. Negative COVID-19 test results within 72 hours of the departure time of flight. 3. Job offer letter 4. Passport with Visa Stamp 5. ArriveCan confirmation code on mobile 6. Quarantine address, I booked an Airbnb I booked the hotel prior to my flight to Toronto as I was landing

How to survice without a sim card during quarantine

When you land in Canada during coronavirus times, there is an immense need to have a mobile number to contact SwitchHealth for COVID testing and Health Canada to particularly follow the quarantine guidelines. There are many applications, which provide virtual mobile numbers. A friend of mine suggested I to use Dingtone mobile application to buy a virtual mobile number.  I bought this number and used it during the whole quarantine period. This application works through the internet and has an inbox, call receiving, and dialing options. It helped me to survive during my quarantine period after landing in Canada.  It could be downloaded using the following link: https://m.apkpure.com/free-phone-calls-free-texting-sms-on-free-number/me.dingtone.app.im This post is entirely based on my own experience, there may be other options to use virtual numbers online.
